By booking a session with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. We are committed to ensuring that your experience with us is exceptional.

1. Customer Satisfaction Policy
At Shaq J Photo, we have a 100% customer satisfaction policy. If you are unhappy with your session in any way, we will refund your session fee or reschedule a new session at no additional charge. Your satisfaction is our top priority.

2. Session Details
Session Length: The length of the shoot will depend on the session you choose. We offer a variety of packages to suit your needs.

Attendance: Parents and friends are always welcome to join the session, but a solo trip is also fine. Regardless of the package you choose or who you bring, we guarantee you’ll have a great time.

3. Payment and Licensing
Retainer and Payment: A 50% deposit is due at booking to secure your session date. The balance of any fees due must be paid on or before the date of the sitting. No photographs will be delivered until all payments have been made in full. Payment for additional images and albums is due at the time of ordering.

License: Upon full payment, the client is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the delivered images for personal or agreed-upon commercial purposes.

Deposit: The deposit is non-refundable but may be transferable to another date if the session cannot be conducted due to reasonable circumstances or situations beyond your control (such as illness or inclement weather). The client acknowledges that the deposit (or part of the deposit) may be forfeited if the client does not contact Shaq J Photo to reschedule a session at least 24 hours in advance when they should have known the session would not proceed as agreed.

4. Ownership and Copyright
All photographic materials, including but not limited to digital files, negatives, transparencies, proofs, and previews, shall be the exclusive property of the Photographer.

The Photographer shall own the copyright in all images created and shall have the exclusive right to make reproductions. The client may not alter, edit, or modify the images without the Photographer's permission.

5. Image Delivery and Editing
All images will be adjusted for skin blemishes, exposure, brightness, contrast, sharpness, etc. The Photographer's judgment regarding these corrections and the number of images put forward to the client for preview shall be deemed correct. Retouching, digital manipulation, and artist finishing are available as an option at extra cost.

Images will be delivered in a digital format via a secure online gallery or another agreed-upon method. All digital files received by the client are final edited images. Shaq J Photo does not release RAW files.

6. Substitution and Liability
Photographer Substitution: The Photographer may substitute another photographer in the event of illness or scheduling conflicts. In such cases, Shaq J Photo warrants that the substitute photographer will be a competent professional.

Liability: The Photographer is not liable for any damage, loss, or delay due to circumstances beyond their control, including but not limited to equipment failure, weather conditions, or unforeseen events. In the unlikely event that the Photographer is unable to provide the agreed-upon services, liability is limited to the refund of all payments received.

7. Cancellation and Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule your session, please provide at least 48 hours' notice. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Sessions canceled with less than 48 hours' notice may incur a cancellation fee.

8. Natural Disasters and File Replacement
In the event of a natural disaster or damage to your digital copies, Shaq J Photo will replace, within 12 months from the session date, all files the client had previously purchased.
9. Mileage
Quoted fees include mileage up to 80 miles round trip. Additional mileage will be charged at $0.67 per mile thereafter.
10. Privacy
Shaq J Photo respects your privacy. Personal information collected during the booking process will be used solely for providing services and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.
11. Amendments
Shaq J Photo reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes prior to their session.
